We are currently seeking a skilled Drywall and Taping Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our standard of excellence.

Job Description: As a Drywall and Taping Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall panels, ensuring that all surfaces are seamless and ready for final decoration. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Able to work at heights up to 24 ft on scaffolding and other equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit spaces within buildings.
• Tape and smooth joints and imperfections, creating a uniform, seamless surface.
• Mix and apply compound and plaster using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure that all surfaces are prepared to accept paint and other finishes.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines are met.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in drywall installation and taping.
• Strong understanding of construction, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift drywall panels and other odd shapes and sizes safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Effective communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
